Job summary

PT. Intikom Berlian Mustika is seeking a Technical Lead for optical network deployment projects (DWDM & FTTx) to oversee design, installation, commissioning and service activation to meet SLA and standards.

You will verify designs, lead field engineers, configure NMS integrations, and act as the main escalation point for deployment and incidents while performing QA using OTDR, OSA and BER testing, and producing As-Built drawings and handover docs.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in Optical Transmission and Access Network (FTTx/GPON).
• Hands-on experience configuring at least 1 optical transport device (Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, or Cisco).
• Deep understanding of optical network architecture, link budget, and advanced optical measurements.
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring technical field teams.
• Professional Transmission certifications (HCIP Transmission, HCIE Transmission, CFOT, etc) advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise field engineers during deployment activities including fiber installation, splicing, commissioning, and implementation of active devices.
• Lead advanced configuration and integration processes into the Network Management System (NMS); ensure end-to-end connectivity before service activation.
• Become the main escalation point for complex troubleshooting during deployment and operational incidents.
• Conduct quality assurance activities through OTDR, OSA, Optical Power Meter (OPM), and BER testing.
• Prepare As-Built Drawings, acceptance test reports, and project handover documents.

Responsible as the technical lead for optical network deployment projects (DWDM & FTTx) to ensure the entire project lifecycle (design, installation, commissioning, until service activation) is delivered according to technical standards, project timelines, and service quality requirements (SLA).

What You'll Do

• Verify network designs including link budget and power budget calculations for DWDM and FTTx implementation.
• Lead and supervise field engineers during deployment activities including fiber optic cable installation, splicing, commissioning, and implementation of active devices such as OLT, Transponder, Mux, and Huawei OSN equipment.
• Lead advanced configuration and integration processes into the Network Management System (NMS), ensure end-to-end connectivity and network readiness before service activation.
• Become the main escalation point for complex troubleshooting during deployment and operational incidents.
• Conduct quality assurance activities through OTDR, OSA, Optical Power Meter (OPM), and Bit Error Rate (BER) testing.
• Prepare technical documentation including As-Built Drawings, acceptance test reports, and project handover documents.

What We're Looking For

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Optical Transmission (DWDM/OTN) and Access Network (FTTx/GPON).
• Hands‑on experience configuring at least 1 optical transport device (i.e Huawei, Nokia, ZTE, or Cisco).
