Job summary

PT. Tujuh Bintang Jaya seeks an experienced Engineer to join our Semarang facility. The role focuses on design, development and optimisation of our systems and processes, applying technical knowledge to deliver engineering projects.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, conduct feasibility studies, perform testing and validation, and document specifications while upholding quality and safety standards. A bachelor’s degree in engineering and hands-on experience are required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• Proven experience in systems engineering or a related engineering field.
• Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles, design methodologies and industry standards.
• Proficiency with relevant engineering software tools and CAD applications.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical thinking skills.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work accurately on complex technical tasks.
• Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and explain technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Design, analyse and develop engineering solutions that meet project specifications and performance requirements.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical assessments to evaluate system performance and efficiency.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation and delivery.
• Perform testing, troubleshooting and validation of systems to ensure compliance with quality standards and safety regulations.
• Document technical specifications, designs and processes in accordance with company standards.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimisation within existing systems.
• Provide technical support and guidance to operational teams.
• Maintain current knowledge of industry standards, best practices and emerging technologies.
