Job summary

Formulatrix Indonesia in Semarang is seeking a Senior Power Electronics Engineer to lead the design, development and testing of state-of-the-art power converters and systems for diverse applications.

You will mentor junior engineers, collaborate with firmware teams to implement control algorithms, and drive validation from concept to production, with a focus on reliability and performance in high-power environments.

Qualifications

• Master's or PhD in Electrical Engineering with Power Electronics specialization.
• 8+ years of experience in designing and developing power electronic converters.
• Expertise in Si, SiC, GaN devices and magnetic component design.
• Proficiency with SPICE, PLECS, and MATLAB/Simulink for simulations.
• Experience with high-voltage/high-power systems is desirable.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of high-efficiency power converters from concept to production.
• Perform detailed circuit design, simulation, and component selection.
• Conduct thermal analysis, EMC design, and reliability assessments.
• Develop test plans and validate prototypes and production units.
• Collaborate with firmware engineers on control algorithms.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to documentation and reports.
