Job summary

PT Talenta Eksekutif Asia is seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to lead end-to-end design of precision automation systems in Salatiga, Central Java. The role emphasizes data-driven engineering and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-performance machines.

You will design complex moving mechanisms, validate through prototyping, and ensure manufacturing readiness while coordinating with workshop teams. On-site, 45-hour workweek, full-time position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in mechanical design for special-purpose machines or automation equipment.
• Proven track record in end-to-end machine development from concept to commissioning.
• Strong CAD skills with SolidWorks or Onshape.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom special-purpose machines from concept through production.
• Perform feasibility studies, technical analyses, and cost estimation for new products.
• Create detailed 3D CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and documentation.
• Collaborate with Electrical, Software, and Automation teams to integrate mechatronic systems.
• Support prototype build, assembly, testing, troubleshooting and validation.
