Job summary

Super is seeking a Senior Sustainability Specialist to lead ESG strategy, policy development and performance reporting across Indonesia. This hybrid placement can be in Alam Sutera, South Tangerang or Surabaya, and you will shape standards, establish targets and KPIs, and ensure alignment with the business goals and UN SDG principles.

Qualifications

• 3–4 years of relevant experience in environmental/climate science, sustainability, or public health.
• Broad knowledge of ESG local and international standards, frameworks, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience building standards and practices from scratch in a startup environment.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Define ESG roadmap, commitments, targets, KPIs and metrics aligned to business goals.
• Set standards and guidelines for ESG practices in the organization.
• Ensure alignment of ESG strategy with UN SDG.
• Advocate change management for new ESG policies.
• Analyze current ESG practices and identify gaps or risks.
• Stay updated on global and local regulations to ensure policy relevance.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders as subject matter expert and advisor.
• Drive sustainability projects across waste, water, energy, and emissions.
• Generate ESG/Sustainability reports for stakeholders and investors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define Aplikasi Supers ESG roadmap along with the commitments, targets (long-term and short-term), relevant KPI and metrics which are linked to the businesss strategy and goals.
• Set the right standards and strategic foundations for ESG through creation of policy, guidelines and principles on ESG practices at Aplikasi Super.
• Ensure the alignment of ESG strategy and implementation towards UN Sustainable Development Goal.
• Advocate change management strategy for newly created ESG policies in the organization.
• Analyze current ESG practices and processes while identifying and mitigating potential gaps or risks or errors.
• Keep abreast of the current global and local rules and regulations while ensuring the relevancies of Aplikasi Supers ESG policies.
• Maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders by becoming the subject matter expert, advisor and/or partner for the implementation of ESG practices in the organization.
• Drive relevant projects related to corporate sustainability initiatives on several elements, including waste, water, energy and emissions.
• Generate ESG/Sustainability reporting for stakeholders, investors and public audiences on Aplikasi Supers efforts towards the realization of a sustainable future in accordance with internationally recognized standards (e.g. UN SDGs, PRI, TCFD and SASB).

Role Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-4 years of relevant experience in the field of environmental/climate science, sustainability, or public health.
• Broad knowledge of ESG local and international standards, frameworks and regulatory requirements towards various standardization practices.
• Working experience in managing various nuances of challenges in building up standards and practices from scratch, with passion towards start-up environment.
• Excellent organizational and project management skills.
• Have excellent proficiency in English, both verbal and written.
