Super is seeking a Senior Software Development Engineer - Back End to build and scale backend services. You will implement high-quality features, drive engineering best practices, and guide junior engineers while collaborating with product managers, frontend engineers, and QA to deliver on our technology roadmap.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in backend work with NodeJs/NestJs/Typescript and familiarity with Redis, Kafka, MySQL, and Elasticsearch, plus a CS-related degree.

• Graduated with Computer Science related background.
• Strong understanding of backend development concepts and design patterns.
• Experience with scalable backend systems and service-oriented architecture.

Responsabilités

• Create and implement high-quality backend features to augment operations.
• Write efficient, scalable solutions to grow the company.
• Lead engineering practices and standards for the backend team.
• Provide technical leadership and solve issues across tribes following SLA.
• Review code to improve performance, stability and availability.
• Mentor junior engineers through knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate with Product, Frontend, and QA to deliver on tech roadmap.

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and implement high-quality features to augment our operations while adding value to our customers.
• Write and deploy efficient, usable, pragmatic, and scalable solutions to grow the company.
• Implement and upgrade our engineering best practices hence defining novel standards in our system.
• Act as the center of expertise and provide technical leadership to solve issues in your respective tribes following the defined SLA.
• Partaking in the review process for existing as well as new codes to advance system performance, stability, quality, and availability.
• Groom other junior engineers in the organization through regular knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Collaborate closely with disparate functions including Product Managers, Frontend Engineers, and Quality Assurance in delivering solutions following the technology roadmap.

Role Requirements:

• Graduated with Computer Science related background.
• Minimum of 3-1 years of working experience using NodeJs, NestJs, or Typescript. Experience with Golang, Java, Ruby on Rails, Python, or Elixir is also welcome.
• Excellent understanding of app development tools such as Redis, Kafka, MySQL, and Elasticsearch.
• Fluent in software engineering concepts and design patterns.
