Job summary

Infineon Technologies Batam is seeking a Senior Staff Engineer Quality Engineering who will drive continuous quality improvements and lead the Quality Engineering team to achieve KPIs. You will define and maintain the Quality Management System, develop strategies to uphold quality across existing and future technologies, and lead deviation, risk, and change management with robust problem solving.

The role requires strong leadership, collaboration and a proactive mindset.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electronics Engineering.
• 5+ years in Quality Engineering or related field (semiconductor/PCBA preferred).
• Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Proficient in Process FMEA, QC tools, 8D, and IATF regulations.

Responsibilities

• Defines, develops, deploys, and maintains a Quality Management System with systematic processes.
• Develops strategies to establish and maintain quality standards for current and future technologies, packages, and services.
• Drives the Quality Improvement Program and ensures deviation, risk, and change management are in place.
• Leads Quality System Audits with focus on compliance across audits.
• Manages deviation handling, SPC, and corrective/preventive actions.

Job description

As Senior Staff Engineer Quality Engineering, you are responsible to drive continues quality improvement activities and lead Quality Enginering team to meet company KPI.

Your role

Key responsibilities in your new role

• Defines, develops, deploys and maintains a Quality Management System and systematic processes and methods considering standards and customer requirements
• Develops and implements strategy / approaches / concepts /methodologies / programs to establish and maintain quality standards of existing, and planned future technologies, packages, products and services as well as for a proactive and reactive quality services for internal and external customers
• Drive Quality improvement Program, ensure deviation, risk and change-management are controlled and problem solving are in place
• Drive Quality System Audit with zero non conformity finding on Compliance Audit, IATF Audit, and Customer Audit)
• Drive on Deviation management system to meet company targets and ensures capability and stability of production (e.g. SPC) and manages corrective and preventive measures.

Your profile

Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical / Electronics Engineering
• Minimum 5 years experience in Quality Engineering or a related field (prefer experience on Semiconductor or PCBA manufacturing
• Good leadership skills, and understanding of business principles and industry-specific quality standards.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment, requiring adaptability and agility.
• Good knowledge in Process FMEA, ,QC Tools, 8D Report, and IATF regulation.
