Job summary

Infineon Technologies AG in Batam, Indonesia seeks a Staff Engineer Unit Process Engineering to optimize and scale semiconductor manufacturing processes in a high-tech cleanroom. You will monitor performance, drive improvements, and lead issue resolution across 8D/DMAIC methodologies, with a focus on yield, quality, and cost reduction.

The role requires a Bachelor's in a relevant engineering field and hands-on experience with Mold and End-of-Line processes, along with strong statistical analysis

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in relevant engineering fields (semiconductor/tech).
• Experienced in Mold and End-of-Line processes as Process / NPI Engineer.
• Strong statistical data analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Expert in manufacturing process knowledge and equipment handling.
• Systematic problem-solving methods such as 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, and reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance indices on qualified processes and establish good controls
• Sustain and improve qualified technologies in volume production with regard to stability, quality, productivity and yield
• Lead and troubleshoot process issues; apply 8D, DMAIC to prevent recurrence
• Support development of new technologies and ensure smooth take-over into volume production and integration into manufacturing environment
• Accountable for 8D closure of FAR, MRB, DDM and SCAR
• Lead yield and quality improvement and cost-reduction activities

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor process performance indices on qualified processes and establish good controls

• Expert in prosess knowledge and skills in manufacturing process & some equipment knowledge


• Systematic Problem-Solving methodologies e.g. 8D, DMAIC, Process Mapping, FTA, Fish Bond First level reliability (Knowledge of various failure modes, knowledge of application and respective reliability requirements and test standards)
