Qualifications

• 4+ years in SRE/DevOps/platform engineering at high-traffic environments.
• Deep cloud expertise (AWS preferred), with ability to ramp up on others.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Linux fundamentals.
• CI/CD and GitOps tooling experience (ArgoCD).
• Database performance analysis and monitoring (MySQL/Postgres).
• Observability tooling and standards (Datadog/OpenTelemetry).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong written and spoken English; solid documentation.
• On-call and incident handling during peak traffic times.

Responsibilities

• Own availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems end-to-end.
• Design and evolve Kubernetes deployment strategies for production workloads.
• Own CI/CD and GitOps pipelines in production and Terraform provisioning.
• Diagnose database performance issues and resolve them.
• Build and maintain observability to surface issues early.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives; gather requirements and communicate impact.
• Negotiate tradeoffs with stakeholders to meet SLAs.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers.
• Maintain documentation and incident response processes.
• Lead structured incident investigations with a metrics-first approach.
