Job summary

AlloFresh seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to ensure reliability, scalability, and performance of production systems. You will automate infrastructure, implement observability, and embed reliability across the software lifecycle.

You will monitor SLIs/SLOs, lead incident response, manage Kubernetes clusters, and maintain CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins/GitHub Actions. Collaboration with development teams is essential to improve deployment readiness.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in SRE, DevOps, or infra engineering.
• Strong understanding of SRE: SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Experience with cloud-native systems (AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
• Familiar with GitOps tools like ArgoCD or FluxCD.
• Hands-on with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana).
• Scripting in Bash/Python/Groovy; IaC (Terraform, Ansible).
• Linux/Unix foundations; Git workflows.

Responsibilities

• Monitor reliability, define and track SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets.
• Lead incident response with RCA and resolutions.
• Automate infrastructure to reduce toil via scripting and tooling.
• Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters.
• Maintain GitOps workflows with ArgoCD for deployments.
• Design CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins Job DSL (Groovy).
• Collaborate with dev teams to improve reliability and deployment readiness.
• Maintain platform tools like Jenkins, ArgoCD, and registries.
• Develop runbooks, postmortems, and internal docs.
