Job summary

NinjaOne is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our SRE team. You will design, build, and maintain automation and internal tools to improve production reliability and day-to-day operations.

You will collaborate with SRE, Engineering, and Production Support to learn product architecture and contribute to daily operations, on-call rotation, and incident response. You should bring 5+ years of SRE/DevOps experience, strong coding in Python/Go, and hands-on CI/CD and cloud

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or production software engineering.
• Strong hands-on programming in Python or Go and Bash scripting.
• Experience building and maintaining automated tooling beyond scripts, including APIs, error handling, testing, and version control.
• Hands-on CI/CD automation with tools like Jenkins, Bitbucket Pipelines, or equivalent.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS or GCP) and Linux server administration.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain internal tools, services, and scripts to reduce repetitive work and improve operational efficiency.
• Learn product architecture, service dependencies, and production support model quickly.
• Contribute to daily SRE operations and on-call support with monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Investigate production incidents and drive root cause analysis to deliver lasting automation improvements.
• Improve monitoring, alerting, and service performance across teams.
