Zusammenfassung

StraitsX Group seeks a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to own reliability, performance, and cost for production systems. You will design Kubernetes deployment strategies, manage CI/CD pipelines (ArgoCD/GitOps), and oversee Terraform provisioning across cloud and on-prem environments.

You will diagnose database performance issues, build robust observability with Datadog/OpenTelemetry, and lead medium-to-large infrastructure initiatives while mentoring engineers and coordinating with stakeholders.

Qualifikationen

• At least 4 years of experience in SRE, DevOps, MLOps, or platform engineering at a high-traffic company.
• Deep expertise in one major cloud provider (preferably AWS) with ability to ramp up others quickly.
• Production experience with Kubernetes and Linux fundamentals.
• Knowledge of CI/CD & GitOps (ArgoCD or similar).
• Experience with database performance analysis & monitoring (MySQL, Postgres).
• Familiarity with observability tools (Datadog, OpenTelemetry).
• Infrastructure as Code (Terraform).
• Strong written and verbal English, documentation discipline, and on-call incident handling.

• Own availability, performance, scalability, and security of production systems end-to-end.
• Design and evolve Kubernetes deployment strategy for production workloads.
• Own CI/CD and GitOps pipelines and Terraform provisioning.
• Diagnose and resolve database performance issues.
• Build and maintain observability surfaces to surface problems early.
• Lead infrastructure initiatives; gather requirements and communicate impact.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to peers and junior engineers.
