Job summary

Grab is seeking a senior software engineer to join the CX Engineering team in Jakarta. You will build high-quality Go backends and fullstack services powering login, home, and activity experiences.

You will promote AI-driven development, plan and test features, review code, and help raise engineering standards across the team. This is an on-site role reporting to the Engineering Manager in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Strong foundations in data structures, algorithms, and system design.
• Ability to audit AI-generated code for security and correctness.
• Experience leading AI-driven technical initiatives and standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize scalable fullstack and Go backend services.
• Leverage AI-assisted tooling to boost code quality and team efficiency.
• Design scalable architectures and manage performance at scale.
• Own product outcomes, coordinate cross-functional work, handle incidents.
• Lead code reviews and mentor teammates to raise engineering standards.
