Grab is Southeast Asia's leading superapp. You will build high-quality systems powering end-to-end consumer journeys across the Grab app—from login to home and activity experiences—while promoting AI-enabled workflows for secure, reliable code.

You will report to the Engineering Manager for an on-site role in Jakarta, contributing to scalable Go and multi-language backend services and guiding AI-driven initiatives that raise engineering standards across teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field.
• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• Ability to audit AI-generated code for security and correctness.
• Experience leading AI-driven initiatives and improving engineering standards.

Responsibilities

• Build, operate, and optimize scalable full-stack and Go backend systems.
• Leverage AI-assisted tools to write high-quality, secure code.
• Design scalable architectures and manage performance at scale.
• Own product outcomes and coordinate across teams during incidents.
• Lead reviews and raise engineering standards via mentorship.
