Job summary

Grab seeks a Senior Android Engineer to design, build, operate, and monitor secure, high-quality mobile systems. You will collaborate with product, design, data science and backend teams to deliver scalable features for Grab's consumer experiences.

You will own end-to-end features, lead design reviews, and mentor peers while upholding engineering excellence and performance. This role is based on-site in Jakarta.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of software engineering experience with 4+ years in Android.
• Strong CS fundamentals and knowledge of CI/CD and observability.
• Experience delivering end-to-end features for large-scale apps.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Android components for performance and scalability.
• Collaborate with mobile/backend engineers, designers, data scientists and PMs.
• Lead code and design reviews to uphold high standards.
• Own projects from conception to deployment with clear requirements.
• Mentor teammates and drive process improvements across team.
