Job summary

AccelByte is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to design, build, and maintain backend services, deployment tooling, and observability to improve reliability and scalability. You will work with Kubernetes, CNCF tools, and automation to prevent outages and optimize performance.

The role requires Go and Python coding skills, IaC, and strong collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement AIOps-style operational improvements and cost-efficient infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Cloud Engineering or DevOps experience with AWS
• 2+ years Kubernetes experience
• Certification in AWS preferred
• Deep knowledge of cloud providers and best practices
• Proven IaC and GitOps experience
• Experience building infrastructure as code (Terraform) and package management (Helm)
• Strong coding ability in Go and Python
• Ability to design scalable, reliable systems
• Experience with CNCF projects and monitoring stacks
• Excellent written and verbal communication

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain high-performance backend services and control planes to automate operations and improve reliability.
• Architect, implement and maintain a scalable deployment framework.
• Build and run service deployment using Kubernetes and CNCF projects.
• Provide secure, scalable cloud platform.
• Create and maintain monitoring and runbooks.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimise infrastructure costs and performance.
• Write clean, maintainable code (Go/Python) for core platform components.
• Engage in root cause analysis and preventive measures.
• Liaise with clients and teams to ensure operational excellence.
