Job summary

PT WIK Far East Batam, a German-designed home appliances manufacturer in Batam, is seeking an experienced Logistics Manager. The role oversees shipping across inbound and outbound streams, collaborates with customs, forwarding partners, and internal departments to ensure timely material availability and deliveries.

The ideal candidate has at least 6 years in similar roles, strong leadership, English proficiency, and hands-on SAP/Office skills to optimize shipping processes and adapt to market

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years of experience in logistics/shipping management.
• Expert in inbound/outbound shipping, air/express, ocean and trucking.
• Strong leadership, adaptability, and problem-solving under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate shipping with internal teams and forwarders to ensure on-time deliveries.
• Collaborate with PMC, customs, shipping teammates, and forwarders to support inbound operations.
• Support PM, CS and other teams on urgent cases and new shipping requests; monitor monthly trade links and finance cut-offs.
• Prepare shipping records/reports and monitor terminal/ocean market trends for proactive actions.
