Job summary

PT DHK Energi Hasta Kapital, a member of DEHAKA Group, is seeking a commercially driven Sales Engineer to develop our drill bit and oilfield equipment business in Indonesia.

Location: Jakarta / Bekasi, with travel to customer sites.

This hands-on role requires technical acumen, travel readiness, and fluency in English and Bahasa Indonesia to communicate with manufacturers and customers.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of B2B sales in drill bits, drilling tools or oilfield equipment.
• Experience selling PDC or roller cone drill bits is strongly preferred.
• Existing relationships with Indonesian drilling contractors or oilfield service companies are advantageous.
• Ability to understand technical specifications and translate customer needs into commercial proposals.
• Proven experience managing sales opportunities through to orders.
• Bilingual: Bahasa Indonesia and English; Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Develop sales opportunities with oil and gas operators, drilling contractors and oilfield service companies.
• Identify customer requirements and coordinate drill bit selection with the manufacturer’s technical team.
• Arrange customer visits, product presentations and technical discussions.
• Prepare quotations and commercial proposals; coordinate tender submissions with the internal team.
• Follow opportunities through negotiation, purchase orders, delivery and payment collection.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide clear forecasts and next actions.
• Coordinate product trials, technical support and after-sales follow-up.
