Job summary

PT Halmahera Persada Lygend is seeking a Risk Management Specialist to lead risk policy updates, assessments, and controls review across the company’s mining operations. The role involves preparing SOPs, risk registers, and reports, plus guiding process owners and supporting external audits.

You should hold a bachelor’s degree in engineering (metallurgical, mechanical, electrical, or physics) and a professional risk management certification (CRMO/CRMP/ERMCP).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering fields and professional risk management certification (CRMO/CRMP/ERMCP) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in risk management; mining or consulting experience is an advantage.
• Strong understanding of ISO 31000, Compliance Risk, ESG Risk, and IFRS.
• Ability to design, analyze, and monitor control systems across processes.

Responsibilities

• Update risk management policies and procedures.
• Conduct risk assessments across all business units.
• Identify and evaluate the adequacy and effectiveness of business processes and controls.
• Prepare policies, SOPs, and periodic risk management reports.
• Provide guidance to process owners in developing risk registers.
• Support external audits for document compliance requirements.
• Prepare data and information as needed.
