Epiroc is seeking a Senior Field Service Technician for a fully remote role, with the possibility to travel for on-site interventions. The position focuses on expert-level installation, maintenance, and diagnostics of complex electromechanical systems.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently are essential. The candidate should have 5+ years in field service or technical support, a background in electrical/mechanical engineering, and experience with remote diagnostic

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years in field service/technical support with electromechanical focus.
• Ability to diagnose remotely and on-site when needed.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Experience with remote diagnostic tools/software.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for on-site interventions.
• Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair electromechanical systems remotely and on-site.
• Provide expert technical support to clients via phone, email, and video.
• Develop preventive maintenance plans to minimize downtime.
• Document service activities and resolutions in the client system.
• Collaborate with engineering to identify product improvements.
• Train junior technicians and end-users on operation and troubleshooting.
• Manage spare parts inventory and replenishment.
• Stay updated on product updates and tech advances.
