Job summary

PT Bangdja Multi Niaga is seeking a seasoned Purchasing Development professional to lead supplier development across FMCG raw materials. The role partners with R&D, QA, and Production to secure material availability, quality, and compliance while expanding the supplier base.

You will drive supplier audits, evaluate new materials, and ensure Halal and regulatory requirements are met. Strong English communication and cross-functional teamwork are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in any major.
• At least 5 years in Purchasing Development / Supplier Development in FMCG or food manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of supplier development, quality evaluation, and RM supplier audits.
• Excellent English; Mandarin is a plus.
• Good understanding of Halal certifications and regulatory requirements.
• Analytical, detail-oriented and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Source and identify new raw materials aligned with R&D/Product Development requirements.
• Proactively identify alternative raw materials to mitigate shortages or price increases.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop new and alternative suppliers for a reliable supply base.
• Handle quality-related issues in coordination with QA and stakeholders.
• Manage registration and onboarding of new RM and suppliers, ensuring requirements are fulfilled.
• Collaborate with QA to conduct annual supplier audits.
