Job summary

PT Dunia Kimia Jaya is seeking an experienced Senior Purchasing professional to develop sourcing strategies for raw materials and build strong relationships with key suppliers. You will lead high-value negotiations and own the procurement budget with variance analysis to drive cost-efficiency.

The role requires 4+ years in purchasing, strong negotiation skills, and expertise in strategic sourcing, contract management, and forecasting.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in any major (Engineering/Management/Supply Chain preferred).
Minimum 4 years of experience as a Purchasing senior/Specialist or equivalent role.
Proven experience in negotiation and strategic supplier management.
Strong understanding of Strategic Sourcing, Contract & Negotiation Management, and Procurement Planning & Forecasting.

Responsibilities

Develop short and long-term raw material sourcing strategies.
Build and manage relationships with key suppliers.
Lead high-value/high-risk contract negotiations.
Prepare, manage, and take full ownership of the department’s raw material procurement budget, including variance analysis and cost-efficiency recommendations.
Analyze procurement data and trends to support strategic decision making.
Drive continuous improvement in purchasing processes.
