Job summary

Kompas Gramedia is seeking an experienced Test Engineer to drive automotive/semiconductor test strategy. You will define test concepts with the design team and lead DFT discussions to ensure testable, high-quality designs.

You will implement test software (C++) for Advantest V93k or similar, design ATE hardware, analyze wafer/test data, review programs, and support transfer to production sites while traveling as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic and Software Engineering; master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years in related field of semiconductor test.
• Able to source off the shelf solution to meet production testing needs.
• Able to analyze production/test problems and to resolve them.
• Able to understand different programming languages.
• Able to lead technical discussion together with product design team.
• Able to lead a team of engineers in designing new test solution.
• For section manager position must be strong in leadership skill,people management,problem solving skill.
• Open for business trip and able to travel to China and Germany for training.

• Realize test programs by creating software (e.g. C++) on Automatic Test Equipment.
• Design ATE hardware: PCAs, Needle Cards, DUT Boards.
• Provide statistical analysis of measurement data on wafers and packaged devices.
• Review, approve and release test programs and ATE hardware for series production and support transfer to different locations.
• Travel for training as required, cooperating with locations and suppliers.
• Support preliminary development projects to evaluate new measurement methods.

• Realization of testing for automotive, semiconductor, inHouse developed ASICs
• Involvement in definition of test concepts together with the design team at the beginning of ASIC development projects:
• Planning and leading of Design-for-test discussions that end up in an efficient and testable design and a technical & qualitative high-grade test concept
• Realization of test programs by creating software (e.g. in C++) on Automatic Test Equipment (Advantest V93k tester,…)
• Design of ATE hardware: PCAs (Loadboards), Needle Cards (Probecards), DUT Boards
• Responsible for providing statistical analysis of measurement data on wafers and packaged devices for design team
• Review, approve and release test programs and ATE hardware for series production and support the transfer to the different production locations. Occasionally preparedness for travelling is expected.
• Close cooperation with different development locations, internal functions and external suppliers
• Support of preliminary development projects to evaluate new measurement methods. Pushing technological advancement by developing and applying new methods for measuring.
• Optimize the development environment
