Qualifications

• Must have experience preparing comprehensive BoQs, quantity take-offs, and cost estimates.
• Strong ability to interpret architectural, structural and construction drawings.
• Proficient in Excel and estimating software.
• Experience in developing project budgets and cost breakdowns.
• Knowledge of cost control, variation assessment and reporting.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to coordinate with design, procurement, PM and construction teams.

Responsibilities

• Prepare comprehensive Bills of Quantities (BoQ) and quantity take-offs.
• Develop project budgets, material cost breakdowns, and construction estimates.
• Analyze drawings, specs, and material requirements for accurate quantities.
• Conduct site visits to verify quantities and progress against estimates.
• Monitor expenditure, track variations, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with design, procurement, PM, and construction teams on budgets.
• Prepare tender docs, evaluate quotations, and support negotiations.
• Assess variation orders and claims by validating quantities and costs.
• Maintain accurate cost reports and BoQ records for decision making.
