About the Role

We are presently seeking a Senior Quality Engineer who will be responsible for leading product quality activities and a team of QA engineers and inspectors to ensure consistent quality performance and customer satisfaction. The role will drive quality improvement, customer issue resolution, audit readiness, and cross-functional problem solving.

Key Responsibilities

Product Quality & Continuous Improvement

• Lead the QA inspector team to achieve defined quality and performance targets.
• Monitor, control, and continuously improve product quality performance.
• Lead in-process audits, structured problem solving, and corrective actions.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, and other functions to resolve quality issues and drive improvements.

Customer Quality & Auditing

• Manage customer quality feedback, failure analysis, root-cause investigation, and corrective actions.
• Coordinate the preparation and execution of customer audits.
• Support ISO 9001 compliance and audits as a certified Internal Auditor.

Team Leadership

• Lead, coach, and develop QA engineers and inspectors.
• Provide timely feedback, conduct performance reviews, and coordinate OJT programs.
• Ensure activities within the assigned area comply with applicable quality, environmental, health, and safety management systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Electronic, Mechanical, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing and 2 years in a comparable senior quality specialist role, including people management or supervisory experience.
• Certified ISO 9001 Internal Auditor.
• Strong knowledge of quality auditing, failure analysis, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving methodologies such as 8D, 4M, and 5 Whys.
• Hands-on experience with Lean Six Sigma methodology is an added advantage.
• Strong leadership, analytical thinking, problem-solving, and team development skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively across functions and drive continuous improvement.
• Good written and spoken English.
