Job summary

TechnicoFlor Parfums Indonesia is seeking an experienced Senior QC / QC Supervisor to lead quality control activities for fragrance products. The role focuses on inspections, sensory evaluation, and analytical testing to ensure product conformity with specifications.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, 3–7 years of QC experience in related industries, and hands-on experience with GC-FID or GC-MS.

• Supervisory experience in a QC team is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct quality inspections and testing of raw materials, in-process materials, and finished fragrance products to ensure compliance with established specifications.
• Perform sensory evaluations to assess fragrance characteristics, consistency, and overall product quality.
• Conduct analytical testing and interpret results to verify product conformity with quality standards.
• Operate relevant laboratory instruments and ensure accurate recording and reporting of analytical results.
• Identify, document, and report quality deviations, non-conformities, and production-related issues.
• Support root cause investigations and the implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
• Maintain accurate QC records, test results, inspection reports, and other quality-related documentation.
• Ensure compliance with established SOPs, quality standards, and company procedures.
• Collaborate with Production, QA, R&D, and Sales teams to investigate and resolve quality-related issues.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and laboratory efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to QC team members when needed.
• For candidates at the supervisory level, oversee QC laboratory activities, guide team members, monitor work quality, and support the development of the QC team.

TechnicoFlor Parfums Indonesia is looking for an experienced, passionate, and detail-oriented Senior QC / QC Supervisor to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and consistency of fragrance products through quality inspections, sensory evaluations, and analytical testing.

Requirements

Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

3–7 years of experience in Quality Control, preferably in the fragrance, essential oil, flavor, or related industries.

Good understanding of quality control processes for raw materials, in-process materials, and finished products.

Good command of English, both spoken and written, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional working environment.

Experience in sensory evaluation and analytical testing of fragrance products.

Knowledge of physical and chemical testing parameters, such as pH, density, and viscosity.

Familiarity with quality standards, product specifications, laboratory procedures, and quality documentation.

Knowledge of and hands-on experience operating analytical instruments such as GC-FID or GC-MS is highly preferred.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Good communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Previous experience supervising or guiding QC team members is an advantage.
