Job summary

Pengiklan Anonim seeks an experienced QC Manager to lead quality control in flour milling, ensuring product quality, food safety, and regulatory compliance across production and laboratory operations.

You will lead audits, calibrations, and continuous improvement initiatives, mentor the QC team, and collaborate with production and supply chain while presenting performance results to senior management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in food technology, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Microbiology, Agriculture, or related discipline.
• Minimum 8–10 years of experience in Quality Control/Quality Assurance within food manufacturing industries.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience, preferably in Flour Milling, Grain Processing, Feed Milling, or FMCG Food Manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of flour quality parameters, wheat characteristics, dough performance, baking functionality, and laboratory analysis.
• Sound understanding of HACCP, GMP, ISO 22000/FSSC 22000, Halal Assurance System, and food regulatory requirements.
• Proven experience in leading quality improvement projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality reporting systems.
• Fluent in Bahasa Indonesia and English.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Quality Control Department to ensure consistent flour quality in compliance with company standards and customer requirements.
• Develop, implement, and monitor quality control systems and laboratory testing procedures.
• Ensure compliance with Food Safety Management Systems, including HACCP, GMP, SSOP, ISO 22000, FSSC 22000, Halal, and applicable regulatory requirements.
• Monitor incoming wheat quality, in-process production quality, and finished product quality.
• Analyse quality trends and identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Maintenance, Procurement, Sales, and Technical Service teams to resolve quality issues.
• Manage customer complaints, product investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Ensure laboratory equipment calibration, verification, and maintenance programs are effectively implemented.
• Lead quality audits, regulatory inspections, and certification programs.
• Develop and coach QC team members to build strong technical competencies and a high-performance culture.
• Prepare and present quality performance reports to Senior Management.
