Job summary

PT. Multi Arta Lestari is looking for a Purchasing/Procurement professional to manage project-based buying and ensure timely delivery of materials. You will create POs, follow up approvals, and coordinate with suppliers to meet specifications and delivery schedules.

The role requires 3–5 years in purchasing, familiarity with industrial materials, and strong English communication for overseas suppliers. You will work closely with internal teams to optimize sourcing and ensure smooth import

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in any field; preferred in Finance, Logistics, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering.
• 3–5 years experience in Purchasing/Procurement, preferably project purchasing.
• Experience in industrial materials, manufacturing, steel/metal, industrial imports, fiber optics or related industries.
• Knowledge of import purchasing and import processes is an advantage.
• Fluent in English for overseas supplier communication.

Responsibilities

• Create Purchase Orders (PO) and follow up on approval processes
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to ensure on-time, correct-quality deliveries
• Coordinate with relevant unit teams for receiving and inspection of purchased items
• Source and evaluate alternative suppliers/vendors; negotiate quotations based on specifications, lead time, TOP, and pricing
• Monitor supplier performance and maintain good supplier relationships
• Coordinate purchasing activities for project-based procurement, including material availability and delivery timelines
• Coordinate with internal teams and suppliers regarding imported materials and support the purchasing process when required
