Job summary

Manulife invites a Proposition Design & Development Lead to steer the design and development of differentiated life and wealth propositions, with emphasis on investment‑linked products (ILP), wealth accumulation, high‑net‑worth, legacy planning, and multi‑currency opportunities.

The role guides the proposition from insight through business‑case approval and design handover, ensuring clear accountability for pricing, specifications, implementation, and commercialization within partner teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Finance, Economics, Business, Marketing, or related discipline.
• Typically 8–12 years of relevant experience in life insurance proposition, product strategy, or wealth.
• Experience leading at least one proposition from insight through post‑launch review.
• Strong English and Bahasa Indonesia communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Translate strategy and portfolio priorities into an integrated 12–18‑month life and wealth proposition roadmap.
• Define target customers, needs, outcomes, and differentiating features; validate with research and market feedback.
• Own the business case design, governance, and cross‑functional design decisions with stakeholders.
• Lead cross‑functional teams; ensure coherence across channels and commercialization handover.
• Maintain the proposition handover package including requirements, guardrails, and success measures.
