Job summary

Prudential Syariah in Indonesia seeks a Senior Health Product Lead to drive end-to-end health product development from research through launch and optimization. You will coordinate across Product, Actuarial, Distribution, IT, and Operations to deliver innovative, compliant solutions.

You will analyze market needs, oversee regulatory filings, and lead teams to balance customer value with business goals in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years in the insurance industry with life/health product development.
• Proven end-to-end product development experience: design, launch, lifecycle management.
• Strong insurance product expertise translating customer needs and business strategy.
• Solid understanding of insurance regulations, filing, compliance and governance.
• Leadership experience managing teams and developing internal talent.
• Excellent stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration.
• Strong analytical, project management and communication skills for fast-paced delivery.

Responsibilities

Role Description:

• Lead the end-to-end health product development lifecycle, from market research, ideation, feasibility, to launch and enhancements.
• Translate product strategy into actionable development plans, ensuring alignment with business goals and growth targets.
• Conduct ongoing market analysis, customer research, and competitor benchmarking to support product innovation and improvements.
• Lead and manage product documentation, regulatory submissions, and approval processes, Ensure product compliance with regulatory, governance, and risk management requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
• Lead cross-functional stakeholder engagement, such as Product Implementation, Product Activation, Actuarial, Distribution, Operations, Finance and IT, to deliver high-quality product solutions aligned with business objectives and timelines.
• Monitor post-launch performance (sales, claims, profitability) and drive continuous product enhancements and optimization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in the insurance industry, with strong exposure to life and/or health product development.
• Proven experience in end-to-end product development, including proposition design, product launch, and lifecycle management.
• Strong insurance product expertise, with the ability to translate customer needs, market insights, and business strategy into commercially successful solutions.
• Solid understanding of insurance regulations, product filing, compliance, and governance requirements, particularly within life and health insurance.
• Strong leadership capability, including experience leading teams and developing internal talent.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions and manage cross-functional product initiatives.
• Strong analytical, project management, and communication skills, with the ability to drive execution and deliver results in a fast-paced environment while balancing commercial objectives and customer value creation.
