Job summary

ZTE Indonesia is seeking a seasoned Project Director/Senior Project Manager to lead the XLSmart project in Jakarta. You will own planning, execution, and delivery, coordinating cross‑functional teams and managing senior client relationships.

Responsibilities include developing the Master Project Plan, tracking milestones, controlling scope, budget and risks, and ensuring deliverables meet contractual requirements and quality standards. A 15+ year telecom background is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proven experience as a Project Director / Senior Project Manager, preferably managing projects with 2,000+ sites.
• Experience with ZTE, Huawei, Ericsson, or Nokia is highly preferred.
• Strong experience in telecom rollout, network deployment, or managed services projects.
• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to communicate and maintain relationships with C-Level customers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the overall planning, execution, and delivery of the XLSmart Project.
• Develop and monitor the Master Project Plan, milestones, and project progress.
• Ensure the project is delivered on time, within budget, and according to agreed requirements.
• Act as the key interface between ZTE and the customer for major meetings, project issues, and escalations.
• Manage customer expectations and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders, including C-Level customers.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and timely resolution of project issues.
• Ensure all project deliverables are completed according to contractual requirements and quality standards.
• Manage project scope, risks, resources, and costs.
• Identify project deviations and implement preventive or corrective actions when necessary.
• Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams and resources.
• Monitor team performance and ensure effective resource allocation.
• Conduct regular project reviews and lessons learned.
