Job summary

PT Sinotech Engineering Indonesia is seeking a skilled Project Coordinator to lead bidding and project execution from the head office in Jakarta. The role requires a strong design understanding within engineering consulting, English fluency, and the ability to manage schedules, budgets and risk across hydropower-related projects.

The position emphasizes preparation of tender documents, coordination with engineering teams, and adherence to Indonesian regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4-year degree with 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator, or Master’s with 2+ years.
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing).
• Excellent communication and project management.
• Understanding of design work in an engineering consulting company.
• Familiar with the requirements and procedures for preparing tendering proposals/documents in Indonesia.
• Able to investigate and report on engineering matters and progress.
• Familiar with SNI codes, project software, and proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Experience in hydropower plant projects is a great advantage.

Responsibilities

• Lead project acquisition and bidding activities, including due diligence, scope review, BOQ, cost estimates and subcontractor proposals.
• Coordinate with Engineering and relevant parties to prepare quotations and proposals for management approval.
• Plan and coordinate project implementation, including schedule, resources, and milestones.
• Monitor project budget, revenue, costs and cash flow against plans and contracts.
• Identify commercial risks and potential cost overruns and report to management.
• Ensure activities comply with policies, procedures, contracts, regulations and quality standards.
• Review key project documents and coordinate document control.
• Prepare, review, and revise project procedures, forms, templates, and checklists.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
