Job summary

PT. SIGMA GLOBAL TEKLO TeknoLOGI (SIGMATECH) is seeking a Senior Product Owner for the Banking Industry to join on a contract basis in Central Jakarta. You will define product roadmaps, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver technology solutions for banking clients.

Work with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable user stories, while ensuring regulatory compliance and industry standards. Strong English and Indonesian communication are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management or senior business analysis experience in banking or financial services
• Proven track record delivering complex technology products in agile environments
• Strong understanding of banking products, processes, regulations and customer requirements
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication with technical teams, business users, executives and external clients
• Advanced proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications and user stories
• Experience with product management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban
• Knowledge of banking compliance frameworks, data security standards and regulatory requirements such as OJK regulations or Bank Indonesia guidelines
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Indonesian
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Technology, Computer Science or related field
• Professional certifications such as PSPO, Certified Product Owner (CPO) or equivalent product management credentials are advantageous

• Manage product backlog priorities and iterations, making data-driven decisions on feature development and enhancements
• Conduct regular stakeholder meetings and client reviews to communicate progress, gather feedback and manage expectations throughout the product lifecycle
• Monitor market trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies within the banking sector to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement
• Define acceptance criteria and success metrics for product releases and features
• Mentor and support junior product management and business analysis team members where applicable
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards relevant to banking solutions

About the role

What we're looking for

5+ years of product management or senior business analysis experience, with substantial exposure to banking, financial services or related regulated industries

Proven track record of successfully delivering complex technology products in agile or iterative environments

Strong understanding of banking products, processes, regulations and customer requirements (retail banking, corporate banking, payments, or related domains)

Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business users, executives and external clients

Advanced proficiency in translating business requirements into technical specifications and user stories

Experience with product management tools and methodologies such as Agile, Scrum or Kanban

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions
