Job summary

amIT Global Solutions Sdn Bhd is seeking a Product Manager/Product Owner with fintech experience to help develop new forex trading products and services. You will lead roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive performance analytics for the trading tools portfolio.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, A/B testing, and end-to-end feature development to meet evolving trader needs and business goals.

Qualifications

• 3+ years as Product Manager/Product Owner in digital industry, fintech preferred.
• Experience leading a small team (1–3) or a project is a plus.
• Understanding of KPIs, OKRs, and key product metrics.

Job description

General Responsibility:

1. Utilize financial market expertise to support the Product Team in developing new products and services that meet the evolving needs of forex traders, through features, news or education.
2. Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with our overall business strategy and goals while collaborating with other teams.
3. Continuously analyze the performance of the entire trading tools portfolio, assess adoption, recency and frequency of clients that use this portfolio in their trading process. Identify areas of improvement and innovation in alignment with product and business goals.
4. Understand client's behavior through data and the placement and packaging of our tools within the customer journey and funnel, and innovate on how to improve this moving forward.
5. Understand technical and business feasibility in new ideas or enhancements. By doing so, able to lead seamless end-to-end execution of enhancements and new feature development.
6. Communicate requirements, A/B test and run POC's with technical and business team to assess potential impact. Understand best ways to compromise and find win-win solutions to all teams.
7. Develop designs and go-to-market strategies for all projects via collaboration with Growth, Media, CRM and UX, including enhancements to existing offerings and new features.
8. Keep up to date with competitor offerings to capture ongoing trends in the forex industry, enabling the team to capitalize on new trends and translating this into USP's for MIFX.
9. Monitor market movements and news events in real-time to identify potential opportunities and risks, and adjust trading strategies accordingly.

Education

• Bachelor's Degree (or higher) in Economics, Finance, Statistics or any other related field.
• Min. 3 years of solid experience as a Product Manager/Product Owner in the digital industry, with min. 1 year of experience in fintech background.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in managing a small team (1-3 team members) or leading a project.
• Understanding of KPI's, OKRs, and key metrics in measuring product success.
• Excellent problem-solving, creative thinking, and analytical skills, to yield innovative breakthroughs that bring advantage for customers and align with the business objectives.
• Preferably accustomed to a multi-cultural collaboration.
• Understanding of the global economy and its correlation with the FX market is an advantage.
• Knowledge of technical analysis (intermediate level).
