Job summary

PT TRACON INDUSTRI (TRACON) seeks an experienced chemical engineer to develop and review process design deliverables, run simulations, and optimize process performance for major industrial projects. The role includes assisting safety studies, coordinating with other disciplines, and providing technical support during execution, commissioning and start-up phases.

The ideal candidate has at least five years in EPC/oil & gas or related sectors, strong knowledge of process safety, and

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery, or Industrial Process Facilities.
Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent process simulation software.
Strong understanding of process safety and engineering standards.
Experience in FEED and Detailed Engineering projects is preferred.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Good communication skills in English both verbal and written

Responsibilities

Develop and review process design deliverables, including Process Design Basis, Heat & Material Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, and process datasheets.
Perform process simulations, calculations, and optimization studies.
Ensure compliance with process safety requirements and engineering standards.
Support HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies as required.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
Provide technical support during project execution, commissioning, and start-up activities.
