Job summary

PT Tracon Industri in Jakarta is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to develop, review, and perform mechanical design calculations for EPC projects.

You will prepare specifications, datasheets, equipment sizing, and technical reports, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering consistency and project compliance from design through commissioning. Strong knowledge of ASME, API and ANSI standards, plus experience with rotating and static equipment, is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 5 years of mechanical engineering experience in EPC sectors (Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power).
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI and related standards.
• Experience with rotating and static equipment engineering.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, PV Elite, Compress or equivalent software.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Good command of English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and perform mechanical engineering design calculations for EPC projects.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including specifications, datasheets, equipment sizing, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering consistency and project compliance.
• Conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals and engineering documents.
• Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical engineering issues.
