Job summary

PT TRACON INDUSTRI (TRACON) is seeking a Senior Chemical Engineer with 8+ years of EPC/O&G experience to develop and review process designs and data sheets. You will perform simulations, ensure safety standards, and support commissioning and startup activities at our head office locations in Indonesia.

Ideal candidates will have strong English communication, knowledge of PFDs/P&IDs, and familiarity with FEED and detailed engineering workflows.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery, or Industrial Process Facilities.
Proficiency in Aspen HYSYS, Aspen Plus, or equivalent process simulation software.

Responsibilities

Develop and review process design deliverables, including Process Design Basis, Heat & Material Balance, PFDs, P&IDs, and process datasheets.
Perform process simulations, calculations, and optimization studies.
Ensure compliance with process safety requirements and engineering standards.
Support HAZOP, SIL, and other safety studies as required.
Coordinate with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated design solutions.
Provide technical support during project execution, commissioning, and start-up activities.
