Job summary

PT TRACON INDUSTRI (TRACON) seeks an experienced Mechanical Engineer to develop and review mechanical design calculations for EPC projects. You will coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, evaluate vendor proposals, and provide technical support across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Mechanical Engineer in EPC companies.
• Experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Power Plant, or other industrial sectors.
• Strong knowledge of ASME, API, ANSI, and relevant international standards.
• Experience in rotating and static equipment engineering.
• Proficiency in engineering software and design tools such as AutoCAD, PV Elite, Compress or equivalent.
• Willing to be based at Head Office.
• Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and perform mechanical engineering design calculations for EPC projects.
• Prepare and review engineering deliverables, including specifications, datasheets, equipment sizing, and technical reports.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure engineering consistency and project compliance.
• Conduct technical evaluations of vendor proposals and engineering documents.
• Provide technical support during engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure compliance with applicable industry codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving mechanical engineering issues.
