Job summary

PT TRACON INDUSTRI invites an experienced Instrumentation and Control Engineer to join our Jakarta project teams. You will prepare instrument datasheets, index, I/O lists, hook-up drawings and review control system architectures (DCS/PLC/SIS).

You will ensure compliance with IEC/ISA standards, coordinate with vendors, support installation, testing and commissioning, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-value process facilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant engineering field.
• Minimum 5 years in EPC, Oil&Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery, or Industrial facilities.
• Experience in Instrumentation & Control System design for industrial projects.
• Strong knowledge of process safety and engineering standards.
• Ability to prepare datasheets, index, I/O lists, and hook-up drawings.
• Familiar with DCS, PLC, SIS and IEC/ISA standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; good English communication.

• Develop and review DCS, PLC, SIS, and control system architectures.
• Ensure compliance with applicable IEC, ISA, and project-specific standards.
• Coordinate with vendors for technical clarification, bid evaluation, and document review.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Bachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Engineering Physics, or related disciplines.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in EPC, Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Fertilizer, Refinery, or Industrial Process Facilities.
• Experienced in Instrumentation & Control System design for Oil & Gas, Petrochemiccal, Power Plant, Mining, or Industrial projects.
• Strong understanding of process safety and engineering standards.
• Capable of preparing Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Index, I/O List, Hook-up Drawings, and Technical Specifications.
• Familiar with DCS, PLC, SIS, and relevant IEC/ISA standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in English both verbal and written
