Job summary

McDermott is seeking a Senior Planner in Batam to advance planning practices across offshore/onshore oil and gas projects. The role involves coordinating schedule analysis, baseline development, and cross-functional reviews with experienced guidance to junior planners.

You will maintain level 3/4 activity schedules, manage critical paths, and monitor progress curves while ensuring alignment with project milestones and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management/Engineering/Construction/Business Management or equivalent.
• 7-10 years of EPCIC experience on Onshore/Offshore Oil & Gas or Power projects.
• Experience in planning/scheduling for LNG or topside fabrication preferred.
• Strong command of Primavera P6, MS Project, and MS Office.
• Advanced Excel features for curves, histograms, and dynamic tables.

Responsibilities

• Perform schedule analysis using Primavera P6, Deltek Fuse & Risk, and MS Project.
• Support project baseline creation during initiation and setup.
• Facilitate detailed multi-discipline scope reviews and mentorship.
• Develop and maintain level 3/4 schedules for marine EPCIC projects.
• Produce workforce histograms and progress curves tied to schedules.
• Review engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction, and commissioning sequences.
