Job summary

PT Indolakto is seeking an experienced Purchasing Specialist to manage packaging materials for our FMCG operations in Jakarta. You will coordinate with users, warehouse, and factories to ensure timely delivery, evaluate suppliers, and support negotiations to achieve best value.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in related field, 3–4 years of purchasing experience, and strong office software skills. Join a team that sources globally and serves multiple brands under Indofood’s dairy division.

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or related fields.
• Minimum 3-4 years of experience in Purchasing handling Packaging Materials in FMCG preferred.
• Good understanding of purchasing processes and best practices.
• Basic knowledge of Supply Chain processes and import procedures/regulations.
• Good knowledge and experience in supplier/vendor sourcing and evaluation.
• Good communication, negotiation, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Manage and fulfill Purchase Requests (PR) for packaging materials in accordance with approved specifications, quantities, and required delivery timelines.
• Coordinate closely with users, Warehouse, Supply Chain, and Factories to ensure alignment on material specifications, quantities, delivery schedules, and other purchasing requirements.
• Identify and research potential suppliers/vendors and maintain an up-to-date supplier database and records.
• Collect, compare, and evaluate supplier quotations and support the negotiation process related to pricing, service levels, payment terms, and commercial agreements.
• Monitor and follow up on Purchase Orders (PO) and delivery schedules to ensure timely material availability.
• Support the payment process by ensuring purchasing and supplier documentation is complete and accurate.
