Job summary

Spin Master Indonesia is seeking an experienced engineer to support product development from concept through production, working with vendors and our headquarter to hit target costs while meeting design specs.

The role covers development, debugging, sourcing consigned materials, and providing on-site support from development through OBS and into production, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience translating concepts into production-ready designs.
• Strong English communication skills for cross-functional teams.
• At least 5 years in the hard/soft toys industry.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engineering support at vendors to meet product specs and aesthetics.
• Collaborate with headquarter teams to hit target costs.
• Develop, engineer and debug to satisfy product requirements.
• Handle consigned materials sourcing and cost negotiations.
• Provide technical support and debugging on materials.
• Support production output issues and material authorization reviews.
• Monitor schedule and provide on-site development start to OBS.
• Provide manufacturing support after production starts.

What will you work on?

Carry out all engineering support at vendors on the product development and debug to meet the product specifications and aesthetic requirements.

How will you create impact?

• To work with vendors and headquarter on the product design to hit the target cost;
• To carry out product development, engineering, and debug to meet product specifications and aesthetic requirements;
• To handle the consigned material, and special components sourcing and cost negotiation;
• To provide technical support and debug as needed on consigned materials;
• To provide support to internal groups on any production output issues and material authorization review;
• To monitor the schedule and provide on-site support from development start to OBS;
• To provide manufacturing support as needed after Production start.

What are your skills and experience?

• Able to work from concept drawing through development until production;
• Communications skills in English Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or related discipline;
• At least 5 years experiences in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry;
• Has knowledge in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry standards for different countries.
