Job summary

Spin Master is seeking an experienced engineer to provide comprehensive engineering support at vendors, from concept through production, ensuring designs meet specifications and aesthetics. You will work closely with vendors and our headquarters to hit cost targets and manage material sourcing.

The role requires strong English communication, a degree in engineering, and at least five years in the hard/soft toy industry, with knowledge of international standards.

Qualifications

• Able to work from concept drawing through development until production.
• Communications skills in English
• Degree or Higher Diploma in Engineering or related discipline
• At least 5 years experiences in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry
• Has knowledge in the (Hard / Soft Toys) industry standards for different countries.

Responsibilities

• Carry out engineering support at vendors on the product development and debug to meet product specifications and aesthetic requirements.
• Collaborate with vendors and headquarter on product design to hit target cost.
• Develop and debug products to meet specs and aesthetics.
• Handle consigned material, sourcing of special components, and cost negotiation.
• Provide technical support and debug on consigned materials as needed.
• Support internal groups on production output issues and material authorization reviews.
• Monitor schedules and provide on-site support from development start to OBS.
• Provide manufacturing support after Production starts.

Job Description
