Job summary

Mattel in Indonesia is seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to drive process improvements at the Bekasi/Cikarang facility. You will coordinate cross-functional pilots, ensure cost-conscious pack-outs, and uphold product specifications.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering, has at least three years in manufacturing, and communicates effectively in English to support global teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing plant.
• Knowledge of production processes, maintenance equipment, and safety.
• Advanced knowledge in product development.
• Proactive, open-minded, problem-solving, and a team player.
• Excellent interpersonal and written English.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with other departments to support pilot runs and establish proven methods for mass production.
• Collaborate with the team to optimize pack-out within budget.
• Maintain internal and external communications to follow up on development aspects.
• Release internal documents such as parts lists and product specifications.
• Maintain production quality by monitoring weekly test results.

• Coordinate other department to support piloting’s, establish proven method, which can be produced in mass production.

• Together with the team to find the best method in pack out with budgeted cost.

• Active in internal and external communications to follow up all development aspects.

• Maintain the production quality by monitoring weekly test result.

• Bachelor Degree (S1), majoring in Mechanical Engineering or any other engineering background

• Minimum 3 years experience in manufacturing plant in the same position.

• Basic knowledge on production process, general maintenance equipment & safety

• Advance level on product development knowledge

• Proactive, open minded, problem solver, and team player.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill both verbal and written English.

• Willing to work in Cikarang – Bekasi
