Job summary

Packet Systems Indonesia is seeking a seasoned IT security engineer to deliver on-site resident engineering services at client sites in Jakarta. You will design, implement, and support security architectures across firewall, proxy, and load-balancer platforms, ensuring high availability and incident response readiness.

You should have strong hands-on experience with Palo Alto, Checkpoint, Fortinet, Blue Coat, and F5, plus certification and excellent communication in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or Telecommunication with min 3.0 IPK.
• Deep knowledge in firewall technologies (Palo Alto/Check Point/Fortinet).
• Knowledge of Load Balancer technology (F5).
• Knowledge of Proxy Technology (BlueCoat).
• Routing and switching knowledge preferred.
• Professional level security certification required.
• Min 3 years experience in network security deployment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Visio, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT-security engineering support to improve client security posture.
• Manage day-to-day security endpoint and agent operations for security solutions.
• Troubleshoot and address changes to maintain security integrity.
• Support change requests in customer networks.
• Handle reporting, documentation, and standby monitoring.
• Assist On-site Resident Engineering team at PSI customer sites.
