Job summary

PT Packet Systems Indonesia (PSI) is hiring for an IT-security engineer to support client security posture and endpoint management across F5, Palo Alto, and Cisco solutions. The role requires hands-on deployment of network security technologies and providing critical support on customer sites.

The candidate should have a bachelor’s degree in IT/Computer Engineering/Telecommunications, minimum 3 years in network security, and strong communication skills in English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in IT or Computer Engineering or Telecommunication with GPA ≥3.0.
• 3 years’ engineering experience mandatory.
• Deep knowledge of firewall technologies (Palo Alto/Checkpoint/Fortinet).
• Experience with load balancing technologies (F5).
• Experience with proxy technologies (Bluecoat).
• Knowledge of routing and switching preferred.
• Professional security certification required.
• Minimum 3 years in network security deployment.

Responsibilities

• Provide IT-security engineering support and guidance to improve client security posture.
• Manage daily operation and monitoring of security endpoints and agents (F5, Palo Alto, Cisco).
• Troubleshoot and take corrective actions to maintain security integrity.
• Support change requests in customer networks.
• Handle reporting, documentation, and standby monitoring activities.
• Support On-site Resident Engineering team on PSI customer sites.
