Job summary

South Pole is seeking a senior leader to spearhead the Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) technical delivery team in Asia, providing expert guidance to global climate initiatives as needed. You will have full line management over current and future team members, oversee the Asia NBS portfolio, and expand its regional presence while ensuring rigorous execution of emissions reductions and removals.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full technical development of the Asia NBS portfolio, from baselines to verification under Verra, Gold Standard and Article 6.
• Lead end‑to‑end delivery of all projects, managing plans, budgets and issuance forecasts.
• Support feasibility studies and regional strategy with the NBS technical perspective.
• Set team KPIs and design standard operating procedures, tools and templates.
• Build and lead a team of NBS carbon technical specialists with full line management.
• Act as regional NBS subject matter expert, tracking standards and market frameworks.
• Coordinate with partners and internal teams to align workflows and share best practices.
