Job summary

South Pole is seeking a (Senior) Specialist, Carbon Projects Risk to join the Risk team in Jakarta. You will conduct first-level integrity risk assessments of carbon projects and perform first-level KYC screenings of partners, while helping optimize related processes and tools.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external verifiers to produce clear, actionable insights, with a strong emphasis on data accuracy and concise reporting.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree.
• 2-5 years of professional experience.
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and data analysis.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Responsibilities

• Conduct first-level integrity risk assessments of carbon projects.
• Perform first-level KYC screenings of project partners and third parties.
• Draft client-facing integrity summaries and maintain documentation.
• Collaborate with internal teams, rating agencies, and verification bodies.
• Support process and tool optimization for integrity assessments and KYC workflows.
• Assist with ad-hoc data compilation, analysis, and deck preparation.
