Job summary

PT Merdeka Copper Gold in Jakarta, Indonesia, seeks a Long Term Planning Assistant Manager to develop and optimize mine plans, ensuring safe and economically viable operations.

You will lead feasibility studies, reserve estimations, and regulatory documentation while aligning long-term plans with short-term production targets and industry best practices. The role requires strong analytical skills, cross-functional collaboration, and adherence to Indonesian mining regulations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mining Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in mine planning.
• Experience in preparation of mineral reserve estimation documentation.
• Experience in preparation of feasibility study (FS) documentation.
• Experience in mine design and development of supporting mining infrastructure.
• Fundamental knowledge of mining cost estimation and margin analysis.
• Experience in RKAB documentation per Indonesian mining regulations.
• Involvement in AMDAL documentation, specifically technical mining aspects.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Long Term Planning Manager in developing and implementing long term mine plans to optimize resource extraction and meet production targets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align long term plans with short term plans and operational goals.
• Conduct regular reviews of mine plans to identify risks and opportunities.
• Provide technical support and guidance to the mine planning team.
• Prepare and present reports on long term plans to senior management and stakeholders.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in mine planning and recommend improvements.
• Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
