Job summary

Peoplyee in Bandung, Indonesia, seeks an experienced Merchandising Manager to lead a dynamic team in textile and garment manufacturing. You will oversee end-to-end merchandising, coordinate with production, and manage costing and sourcing to meet quality and budget targets.

You will build strong relationships with Japanese buyers, require JLPT N3 and English proficiency, and bring 5+ years of leadership in textile merchandising.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• JLPT N3 Japanese and communicative English level required.
• Minimum 5 years in merchandising or marketing in textile/garment.
• Experience leading a merchandising/marketing team in textile/garment.
• Driver license SIM A or SIM C is required.
• Performance bonus contingent on company performance.
• 12 days of annual leave after 1 year of employment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the merchandising team to achieve objectives.
• Oversee end-to-end merchandising from order confirmation to delivery.
• Build and maintain relationships with buyers, especially Japanese buyers.
• Coordinate with production and internal teams for smooth order execution.
• Manage product costing and sourcing per quality and budget requirements.
• Monitor production quality, timelines and delivery to meet customer expectations.
• Maintain merchandising documentation and prepare regular reports.
